PACKAGING DESIGN: Do Good Labs Packaging

PACKAGING DESIGN: Do Good Labs

by Jozzelle De Jesus

The Brand

Do Good Labs is an Australian company that aims to raise mental health awareness across a snacking platform with their range of granola bars and mixes. The packaging needed to be in its simplest form to strip away the chaos of every day life but it also needed to follow regulatory food packaging requirements in Australia.

Jozzelle was the initial designer in 2019 who assisted with creating the initial 10 designs that flew the air with Virgin Australia domestic flights. The brand as since expanded and hired their own internal graphic designer to continue with their products.

Due to the nature of packaging projects, the final PDF designs are not viewable and a sample snapshot is shown below.

Creating a product?

The Hand Over

At the end of a packaging design, clients are provided the following files:

  1. PNG Mock Ups – If you opted for a mock up, we provide this in PNG. The png is a transparent format and is useful when creating a layered design. We may also provide this in PDF with specific colour information that you can provide to your printer. Some products like bucket hats or visors may only require a mock up, please consult with your printer.
  2. Printable PDF Labels – If you already have a mock up and only require labelling, the printable label comes in a PDF printable format that can be sent to the printers. To create a printable label, the client must ask for the printing template for their product.
