The Campaign

Onefour is a rap group famously known for their Australian “drill rap” style. The project involved promoting the concert arranged for Brisbane as well as creating collateral materials that the team required such as lanyards and shirts. This event sold out in a matter of days.

Flyer, Poster, and Social Media Posts

The flyers and posters were kept simple. Onefour’s reputation with the younger generation was extremely high and very few imagery were required. The group has had several of their shows cancelled which meant their performance was already in demand and only required some hype. Flyers and posters in both A1 and A6 sizes were printed by the marketing team. The posters were converted to fit into story sizes which are more narrow and square posts that trim the height. Additional posts were designed in the same fashion to promote competitions and supporting acts. These did not require the 20% text rule as many of the group’s supporters are already well aware of their shows and movements. Animated story posts were also created for this project to add impact; these can be viewed here.

Lanyards and Shirts

More staff were involved in the Onefour event and required more measures to distinguish staff from the public. This is also due to the aggressive nature of their events. Shirts and lanyards were designed to assist.

The Hand Over

Promotional designs are often fast-paced and may come in various formats depending on what the client requires. Digital formats may also require the 20% text rule if clients are boosting their material. For promotional materials, we may provide our clients with the following files:

  1. Flyers and Posters – Flyers and posters are printable materials and require different colour information and resolutions. Please let our team know what size you require and if your printer requires a “bleed”. 
  2. Square Post – The square post has the dimensions of 1080 x 1080 pixels and is provided in JPG. They are very useful for social media and may be animated or created as a still post.
  3. Story Post – Story posts are put up in social media and have a vertical HD dimension of 1080 x 1920 pixels and are provided in JPG. 
  4. Other Media – Some clients may request for a custom dimension or format. They will need to specify this when starting a project.

We may also contact a printer directly for a client. Just let us know and we will quote you the price of printing and place it all in one invoice!
