Category: Packaging Design
Packaging design can involve two separate processes.
You would create a mock-up of the product to show how it will look to your printer or to use in your sales pitches. After you have decided on this, the packaging needs to be printed. If your product is simple, you might only need the mock-up to send to your printer and we can even handle this part for you if you need. Read about this here.
If your product is more detailed like a food packaging, the printer will usually provide a “Dieline” or a template. The dieline is a flat version of the label or packaging for us to place the design elements in their exact places. The actual packaging may have specific requirements like a minimum size for your barcode, Made in Australia labels, or nutrition information which you will need to provide our team. This service is usually needed after creating the mock-up. You can read about this here.
