Swilo Cover Art
Swilo is an Australian hip hop artist who’s name derives from his roots as a “Swiss” and “Filo”. “Cliche” is his first RnB track and he wanted a different look to the music cover artwork. As the song implies a cliche, our team matched it with the most cliche date a person could ever have; a trip to Disneyland with the typical “hold my hand” pose.
Design vs Illustration
Many people confuse design and illustration as the same but they are completely different. When you ask for a design of a cover artwork, you need to provide images so that it can be designed. This is an illustrated artwork which means it was drawn from scratch. These take time and we price it at an hourly rate. Illustrations are also more difficult to change so please make sure you provide reference samples of the style you are after. If you do not provide this, then our illustrator will pick a style for you.

The Hand Over
At the end of an illustration, we provide our clients with the following files:
- PNG – The PNG preserves artwork colours and is also given in a large, 4000 x 4000 pixel artwork.
- JPEG – The JPEG is also given in a large, 4000 x 4000 pixel artwork but exported at 72dpi for digital posting.
- Other – The client can request for a specific size and resolution (especially for print) and this can also be handed over.
If you need a vector illustration then please let the team know at the start as these are created very differently.
