THEMADDDARTIST Website
The Brand
THEMADDDARTIST is a visual artist from South Carolina. He combines performance art along with his painting to create unique and abstract artwork pieces. He needed a website that can be used as is platform for his creativity.
Extra Support Provided
The artist was going to cost $300+(USD) to link his domain to his WIX website. We helped transfer the domain and rebuilt a new site using WordPress. WordPress is open-source which means it is free. We simply install it to the hosting provider and the domain linking should be free. The only cost you will need to worry about is the monthly hosting and your yearly domain registration. Platforms like WIX, Squarespace, or Shopify are services that allow general public

UX/UI Design
The website is white to heighten the colours of the artist pieces and videos. The front page highlights a video of the artist at work and shows a few of his pieces. The artist mottos are written downwards on both sides. The idea of the website is to get the audience to feel his madness. This is why the site is cut out into oddly-sized shapes and appear like they don’t really line up.
The Website
We created the website using a Basic Website build. This allows us to hand the whole site over to the client after. This is the preferred website for clients who wish to manage and maintain their own content. Our team will provide basic training (if requested) and we will also give documentation to help assist the client.
*Websites are handed over to the client at the end and our studio is not responsible for any updates or changes that the client may make after the hand over process. Please note that some of the examples may be different to the original version we created.

The Hand Over
Websites are a bigger project. It may take several iterations.
During a handover, the client must have their own hosting for the site to be transferred into and their domain must also be active. After the site has been transferred, the client will be provided with information on how to run their site on their own. Backups or maintenance thereafter will be done by the client unless they specifically engage our studio.
There is no handover for landing pages as we provide the convenience of maintaining this for the client.
