Packaging design involves two separate processes. First you would create a mockup of the product to show how it will look to your printer or to use in your sales pitches. After you have decided on this, the packaging needs to be printed so your printer will usually provide a “Dieline” or a template to place it in. This is a flat version of the label or packaging so that we can place the exact locations of where elements of the design will be placed. The actual packaging may have specific requirements like a minimum size for your barcode, Made in Australia labels, or nutrition information which you will need to provide our team.
